I like the art but I could never get into the fanfiction. I am a Van/ Hitomi purist. XD Beautiful drawing though.

too bad...it'd be a good one if she ever finished it. I didn't think I could stomach Van paired with anyone else either, but that one grew on me.

My favorite Escaflowne Fan fiction ever (which I aspire to be like! lol) is one called Memories of a Feather. I also like a fan fiction by Silver Sea Star (which she unfortunately removed after all these years from fanfition.net) called Draconic Legend. I'm writing a fan fiction now called "Gaean Prayers" (that is the working title anyway) which I hope will be half as good. And then there is my main epic...Return to Gaea...which I hope to have 15 chapters for and done by this summer, but I have a lot of revision to do. I'm sorry to say that Escaflowne Funnies is my only complete fan fiction for Escaflowne. For shame! Yeah, not that you needed to all of that, but I thought I'd share. All of my fan fictions involve Van being with Hitomi and Allen ending up with Millerna because I feel like that is the most cannon continuation of the story (as far as relationships go). I like pairing Dryden with Sylvie (the mermaid ^_-) because it seems to make sense. I just can't get into fan fictions where Van doesn't end up with Hitomi because they are destined to be together. But, there are well written ones worth checking out, and the Prophesy is definitely one of them.
